Subscribing to God's standard is not old school.

 

In a kingdom, there is a culture; a way of life.

 How you talk, think and do things will show people to a large extent where you come from.

There are principles and standards laid down that sets a kingdom apart from other kingdoms.

There are some notable display amongst Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo that distinguishes them from one another.

As believers, we are from a kingdom and from a city called Zion. Some things can not just be known with us.

Overtime, it has been counted as a norm probably how the society now pictures some things as no big deal but to us it's a real deal.

Some will just be naturally angry with you because you don't subscribe to their own mindset about a perspective. You are just different and weird to them.

This is not a condemnation message as we know people's mindsets are shaped by a lot of events and how their nurturing is like.

Is God's standard that scarce ? Asides from the scarcity, the way some people think it's not even possible for people to honour that instruction in Hebrews 13:4 is scary.

How do we tell them to believe us and let them know that people still hold God's word in high esteem ?

How do we let them know that following the standard is for our benefits because God knows what is best for us ?

How do we tell them that being in some places as a believer is strange to our lineage?

How do we tell them we are not a fanatic but just living out our reality?

You really don't need more explanation because your actions and words already does.

My prayer is that God's standard gains more ground and that we won't lose our guards in Jesus name.

We stand boldly and firmly in God's standard in Jesus name.

~ The inevitability of Jesus in the grave and beyond

When he died, the devil rejoiced, thinking it has finished.

Little did he know that it is not over until it is over.

Death where is your sting?

Grave where is your victory?

These questions has to be asked before Jesus could say he has finished his course and has completed his assignments.

He asked them but they were dumbfounded 

What a rhetorical question!

He is no more in the grave.

Death has been swallowed up in victory and now we are alive and complete in him.

We are alive because he is alive.

We are no more dead in our sins because he rose from the dead.

It is in his resurrection that our faith is birthed.

~The risk aspect of his inevitability

A fraction of God came to the world. He came as the lamp who took away the sins of the world.

As a man, he did not act like the mighty God or display how sovereign he is. He knows that to access the supernatural, one needs to go through the process when it comes to being on this earthly realm.

Even thou he was God, he still prays so as to align to the Father's will continually. He still humbles himself by following the normal principle to access the father on the earthly realm.

God sending him to the world was a big risk.

Let's see something together,

Just imagine if : 

Jesus did not overcome the temptation and he listened to the devil ?

What if he got carried away with the affairs of this world ?

As he was human, he still has the power to do what God can do. But he chose to remain humble even till his death on the cross.

God will be incomplete and cease to be God if Jesus did not successfully complete his mission on earth.

The glory has to return to him but just imagine if he doesn't ascend back to heaven?

The world will be in total confusion.

From the previous series, I talked about the inevitability of Jesus on how he has been in the picture from the onset.

Jesus; the lamp slain from the foundation of the world.

Salvation is not by works/Law in the light of good deeds or anything you can use to describe it.

At times when i look at the level of some persons good works, i wish it should justify them but the things Christ has done surpass all these and are super exceedingly beautiful 🤗

But, if justice be by law, then Christ died in vain.

God's true standard of judgement standeth sure. God knowest them that are his. 

Only men who have identified with the finished works of Christ. 

Who believe Christ took their place by becoming that sinful nature so as to be made righteous, to boldly call him Father, dominate and rule as kings & priest.

What's the inevitability of Jesus to the world?

He has been in the picture from the onset.

He wasn't the plan B, he was the original plan.

Genesis 1:26 KJV

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

God made man in his image.

Colossians 1:15 KJV

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.

Man's image is in Christ. Man has been in Christ in the beginning and when dominion was lost, Man lost their identity in Christ.

John 1:3 KJV

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

By him all things were made and without him nothing was made.

Everything came into existence by him.

Don't forget the WORD personalized analogy from the previous series.

Revelation 13:8 KJV

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

~The urgency of the message.

As much as the love of God through Christ should be the focus of the message and not the fear of hell, hell can still not be over emphasized.

Hell is real

Eternal damnation is real

The description of the hopelessness and torment is not something to be experienced.

The yard stick of judgement has not change and can not change. It is still by Accepting, Believing and Confessing the Lordship of Christ.

Christ is calling out. He loves you and desires that you come to him. He can't force you.

This is the Clarion call

Light of the world, salt to preserve the world and a City set on a hill that can't be hidden are we.

Living outside this is an aberration to our reality.

This is our purpose.

Fulfilling the will of the father as the light, salt and city that we are.

We must not fall short of this responsibility. That they may see and glorify our father in heaven.

There is this level you will be that glorifying your father in heaven will be undeniable.

As the message of urgency is being relayed, we must show forth to men that it is a message worth receiving by how much we have been transformed.
