REST REVAMP

“A ku isin mi”

A popular way of extending greeting on Sundays; Sabbath day in the Yoruba language  ‘Isin mi’ –REST.

Then my questions are;

▪️What is this rest?

▪️Who permitted It amidst the hurdles of life with the demand of the world at times?

▪️Is resting the next line of action?

▪️Is everyone experiencing the rest?

▪️Is it just limited to a particular day of the week?

Jesus Christ said; _“Come unto me oh ye that labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest.”_

These burdens can be the result of the quest of satisfying a deity, hurdles of life, laboring to attain self-righteousness as it were,  and laboring in the vineyards to carry the master assignment.

That even while serving, you are resting.

Rest is not devoid of work but having a mindedness that your result is from a standpoint of finished work.

A rest is spoken of that the children of Israelites did not enter due to unbelief.

A rest Ruth saw that goes far beyond finding it in the bosom of another husband but through her doggedness and determination, she believed in the lot God has in store for him.

She found her rest amidst hopelessness and uncertainties making her part of Jesus' ancestress.

 To those who don't know this rest, his arms are open wide to receive you.  All he is saying is come and rest in my love.

Believe Jesus in your heart, confess his lordship with your mouth, and keep walking therein.

To those in the rest that are not yet experiencing that reality, dig deep into the knowledge of what this rest is all about till your soul knoweth right well. This will bring you more awareness and consciousness.

Jesus was the center of the rest and the rest is to those who have believed in his finished works.
